Senior Research Associate - DMPK

Translational Sciences - Bothell, Washingto

Description

Summary:

The Translational Sciences department is searching for a highly motivated and experienced DMPK scientist for management of in vitro ADME screening projects and various DMPK activities to support discovery and development of antibody-drug conjugates and small molecule drugs. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience in project management in drug discovery and development

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage ADME screening projects with various CROs, and communicate results within DMPK team and to medicinal chemists
  • Serve as a technical expert on in vitro ADME screening assays, responsible for assay data analysis and interpretation
  • Assist in management of outsourced development-stage ADME studies, including protocol review and data QC
  • Assist with data review of GLP TK reports and other routine PK/TK data QC and review
  • Responsible for publishing PK data in an electronic notebook
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate study progress and timelines which influence team decisions

Qualifications:

  • B.S. with 7+ years of industry experience
  • DMPK experience is highly desirable
  • Direct CRO experience or CRO management experience is desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently complete multiple tasks
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
  • Solid understanding of drug development, familiar with regulatory agency guidelines
